Testimonials

  • I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Forcellini in September 2012. What an adventure, what an introduction to Piedmonte's best! If you can find the fortitude to drag yourself away from the stunning views from the upper balcony, you're in for a treat. Experience the charm of the nearby town of Acqui Terme, a perfect slice of Italian culinary history. Explore the cobbled streets of the historically lush Asti or beautiful Alba - with gelato in hand, of course. Back at the Casa, there is nothing quite as indulgent as a languid lunch on the terrace, overlooking the Langhe hills and town of Cessole nestled therein, with a regional glass of Barolo. A true feast for the senses!

  • Casa Forcellini, nestled  among the lush foothills of Piemonte is truly a magical spot to stay.It is a beautifully appointed villa with breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and hazelnut trees. Some of our most memorable moments were enjoyed on the terrazzo dining al fresco under the evening stars. Casa Forcellini is also ideally situated to nearby towns and cities worthy of exploring. Our particular favourite towns include the charming Cortemilia, Bubbio and Canelli , to name only a few. Whether it is to enjoy a freshly baked chocolate hazelnut brioche , refreshing gelato or to simply sit with a sparkling glass of prosecco watching local life unfold, the possibilities are truly endless. If you wish to venture farther, Acqui Terme, Alba and Alessandria are wonderful cities, all offering something unique to the visitor. If we could possibly spend each summer here, we would in a heartbeat. The spectacular vistas, memorable cuisine, unbelievable wines and the kind and hospitable people make each visit more remarkable that the last.

  • Casa Forcellini can be summed up in one word – breathtaking. I had the absolute pleasure and honor of staying in this stunning Italian sanctuary for the month of July in 2008. The beautifully maintained property is surrounded by magnificent views of the rolling hills and vineyards famous to Langhe in the Piedmont region of Italy. Gorgeous marble floors throughout the home are accentuated by large rooms, inspirational artwork and a picturesque kitchen that leads out to an amazing terrace. Relax, laze, read, sip local wine and simply indulge in one of the most incredible places in the world. You will not be disappointed!
